Day 1: Visit The Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx

Arrive in Cairo and be greeted by our representatives at the airport, who will assist you through Immigration and Customs. Experience the 3rd largest city in the world as you pass through at the heart of modern Cairo from our luxury bus on your way to your hotel.

Today you will fulfill your lifelong dream of exploring the Great Pyramids at Giza, the only of the seven ancient wonders of the world still in existence. Stand with the massive Sphinx, whose lion body represents the power and strength of the pharaohs.

Saqqara is Egypt’s oldest burial ground, and the Step Pyramid of Djoser is the world’s first stone pyramid.

The Grand Museum Hall features a colossal statue of Ramesses II, a centerpiece that greets visitors upon entry. For the first time, the complete collection of King Tutankhamun—over 5,000 items—are displayed together, including his iconic golden mask.

Enjoy lunch on board prior to embarking on afternoon excursions to the Karnak and Luxor temples, located on the East Bank of the Nile. During the New Kingdom, recognized as the most influential era in Egyptian history, Luxor served as the capital of the empire. The Luxor Temple functioned as the seat of power for the reigning divine monarch, while Karnak Temple was the mythological center for the cult of Amun-Re, the supreme deity of ancient Egypt. Overnight in Luxor.

The tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Kings, featuring the renowned tomb of King Tutankhamun and two additional tombs. Visit and admire the Colossi of Memnon and explore the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh of Egypt. Back to The Nile Cruise and Sail to Edfu.  Overnight in Edfu.

The optional hot air balloon offers the most spectacular view of the Valley of the Kings at sunrise. This experience provides exceptional photographic opportunities of the Nile River Valley and its temples.

Wake up for breakfast while Nile Cruise completes its traverse to the city of Edfu. There you will visit the legendary Temple of Horus, Egypt’s most well-preserved temple.

Lunch on board and set sail. To Kom Ombo, enjoy the afternoon cruising on the river, watching the local fisherman and the farmers on the banks of the life-giving Nile waters.

Late afternoon tour Kom Ombo, tour Temple of God Sobek, the Crocodile God

Celebrate the evening in the style of the Egyptians, with a buffet of Egyptian cuisine, followed by a traditional Galabia party.

Overnight in Aswan.

Begin the day with breakfast, followed by a guided visit to Aswan’s renowned High Dam. Continue to the ancient granite quarry to observe the remarkable Unfinished Obelisk. Afterwards, embark on a motorboat excursion to Agilka Island to explore the Philae Temple, often referred to as the “pearl of Egypt” for its striking location and historical significance.

Early morning wake up with Coffee and Tea will be served early. Breakfast box to take on early short flight from Aswan to Abu Simbel

The magnificent temples of Abu Simbel are the site of the Great Rock Temples of King Ramses II, the longest ruling pharaoh with his stunning chariot victory scenes. This temple is the only one in Egypt actually carved out of the rock. Its façade is one of the best-known images of Egypt, along with the Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza.  After visit, flight back to Cairo via Aswan, for final departure.
